HISTORY.
NOVEMBERS DOOM are a five piece “Dark Metal” band hailing from Chicago, IL. (U.S.A), having formed in 1989 under vocalist/lyricist Paul Kuhr. Starting as a more straightforward Doom-Death metal band, they have grown and progressed in ways that few other bands in their genre have. NOVEMERS DOOM have released 12 full length studio albums since 1995's “Amid It's Hallowed Mirth” on AvantGarde/Nuclear Blast, through to 2025, which saw the release of their twelfth studio album titled “MAJOR ARCANA” on PROPHECY PRODUCTIONS, and are currently planning more shows and appearances in North America as well as in other markets such as South America and western Europe. Having appeared on the bill at many of the most well-known festivals throughout the world such as GRASPOP METAL MEETING, BRUTAL ASSAULT, CAOS EMERGENTE PORTUGAL, MARYLAND DEATHFEST, MILWAUKEE METALFEST, 70000 TONS OF METAL, PROG/POWER ATLANTA and more, the band are planning on returning to the touring & festival circuit in 2026/2027 to promote their latest album, which has received outstanding reviews and acclaim from fans worldwide.
